St. Paul Panthers Hit the Streets for SudburyRocks!

On Sunday, May 11 the St. Paul Running Club participated in the SudburyROCKS 5km Race, Run or Walk for Diabetes. A total of twenty students from Grades 5-8 participated in the 5K race while two students in the primary grades completed the 1K race. Running coaches Mme. Lavalle, Mme. Gautheir and Mlle. Vendramin are so very proud of the dedication and spirit of all the runners. The Running Club would like to thank the Knights of Columbus Council 6074 for their generous donation again this year to help offset registration fees for the students. Way to go Panthers!

St. Paul Celebrates Catholic Education Week

As part of Catholic Education Week, students in the Primary division at St. Paul Catholic Elementary School came together to “Serve in the love of Christ” with a faith-based play day. Students had the opportunity to work with students from all of the other primary classes and rotated through a variety of activities such as read alouds, art activities, virtue chalk writing, video of “The Good Samaritan”, songs and dances. It was a great way for students to share their faith in an informal setting and form new friendships. A great time was had by all staff and students!

Bruins Versus Habs at St. Paul

The normally cordial and family-like atmosphere at St. Paul Catholic Elementary School has been temporarily shattered with the imminent NHL playoff battle between the Boston Bruins and the Montreal Canadians. Staff and students are seen representing their colours and allegiances with the same intensity found in an NHL playoff series!! May the best team win!!!!
